23rd August 2010 The first ScotRail Cl.380 Desiro is still to make its way to Scotland. Latest reports indicate that the first unit remains on the continent but is rumoured to be making its way to the UK this week...
East Coast are currently hiring an East Midlands Train HST set and 43058 in EMT livery and 43044 in MML livery were observed at Kings Cross on 20th August.
Not previously noted is that 321414 whilst receiving an application of London Midland livery it is not standard as applied to other 321s, lacking the additional green around the driving cab ends.
Former 3-car Cl.378s, now in 4-car formation - 378208 and 378210 were observed working on the Watford - Euston DC service last week.
3rd August 2010
It is expected that the Class 313 units that remain in service on the Watford to Euston DC services will be withdrawn either late August or early September.
321411 failed before departure from Euston with 2W89 to Northampton on 2nd August due to door problems. Instead the unit ran ECS to Bletchley CS. It was feeling better today, being paired with 321413 working the 0712 Bletchley to Euston.
321416 has emerged in unbranded London Midland livery.
90024 and the Pretendolino set went out for a spin in service on 29th July working a number of Euston - Birmingham diagrams. The Pretendolino resumed its normal Fridays Only 18.46 Euston to Preston the following day.
